study in uk visa requirements
Step 1– Register on the UCAS website and create an application. You may choose up to a minimum of 5 programs in the same university or at a different university in the UK.
Step 2 – Fill out your personal information including educational qualifications and other required details.
Step 3 – Submit financial proofs and documents that are asked by the universities.
Step 4 – The universities usually take up to 2 weeks to revert with a response regarding the submitted application. The university will send in an offer letter on the application selection or a rejection letter upon the refusal of your application depending on the qualifiable requirements.
Step 5 – Upon receiving the acceptance letter, you can go ahead and apply for the UK student visa. International students would have to pay £470 per year for health insurance as per the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) along with the visa fee.
Step 6 – After you receive your visa and if the visa sticker in your passport states “police registration”, you will be required to register at a police station within 7 working days after you arrive in the UK. Some universities in particular would need you to pre-enroll on their official website before you arrive in the country.
Step 7 – Sort out your stay & accommodation. Unlike the international countries, you can also use the EHIC – European Health Insurance Card for all your medical emergencies if you belong to the EU/EEA countries.

- Unsuccessful – When the university rejects your application.
- Withdrawn – When you or the university decide to withdraw from the initial choice of a course.
( Or )
The universities after assessing your application could conduct a virtual meeting or an interview with you.
