- Step 2 – The universities usually take about a month or two to revert with a response regarding the submitted application so be sure to apply in advance. - Step 3 – On the successful admission of the candidate, you can apply for your student visa and study permit online or by downloading the student visa application form (INZ – 1012).
- Step 4 – If you choose to apply for it online, your passport must be additionally sent for better opportunities. Either way, it takes up to a month for a response. You will get an e-visa when applied online and can be used while crossing borders.
- Step 5 – You will then have to provide a declaration of financial documents that confirm the entire tuition fee & accommodation expenses that cover the year of your course.
- Step 6 – You can finally make arrangements for your accommodation and stay purposes.
Intakes
The universities in New Zealand offer 2 intakes –
- January intake – It is also known as the January semester with a deadline starting from 3 months after the start of the semester.
- July intake – It is also known as the July semester and the applications must be submitted by May.
